The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Geospatial Systems, led by Newcastle University in the UK, has c. 12 fully-funded 4-year studentships available for entry in September 2023. Applicants can apply for one of a number of different projects that are advertised at either Newcastle University or the University of Nottingham, or propose their own. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and 30% of the available studentships are available for international (inc. EU) applicants, with international fee top-ups provided by Newcastle / Nottingham. The funding package includes a research training and support grant of £22,000 per student. Students graduate with both a MRes (year 1) and PhD (year 4).
